Student Spotlight Ciara C.

Congratulations to Ciara C. for earning the Student Spotlight! Ciara has officially graduated from Suzuki Book 1! This winter, she decided to tackle her sloppy violin posture. Somehow, she got in the habit of holding her instrument down low in front of her shoulder in a droopy manner. It took a lot of focus and determination, but Ciara has corrected this habit and now holds her violin with professionalism and poise! 

In addition to her fantastic posture, Ciara has developed a beautiful tone and has mastered the difficult skills at the end of book 1, including slurs, hooked bows, grace notes, and low 2nd fingers. With her new posture, excellent tone, and new skills, Ciara is ready to tackle Book 2. Way to go Ciara!!
