Yu-Ting Chiu is a Taiwanese violinist with extensive experience in performance and teaching. She began playing the violin at the age of eight and has since blossomed into a versatile musician, excelling in solo, chamber, and orchestral performances. Yu-Ting holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree at the same prestigious institution under the mentorship of renowned violinist and educator Kurt Sassmannshaus.
At just 16, Yu-Ting made her solo debut performing Pablo de Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen with Hualien’s Phonon Orchestra, marking the beginning of a promising career. Since then, she has graced various stages, from intimate chamber music settings to grand orchestral performances, captivating audiences with her technical precision and emotional depth.
In addition to her performance career, Yu-Ting is a dedicated violin teacher with seven years of experience nurturing students of all levels. She brings her passion for music and technical expertise to every lesson, striving to inspire the next generation of violinists. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes personalized guidance, helping students achieve a balance between technical mastery and artistic expression.
