Congratulations, Kathryn Hippe!!

Congratulations Kathryn from all of us at Cincinnati Strings! Kathryn auditioned and was accepted into the violin section of the Northern Kentucky University Youth Symphony Orchestra (NKU YSO) this fall! NKUYSO is comprised of 8th-12th grade musicians with at least 4 years experience by audition only.

Kathryn showed immense dedication to her violin lessons by practicing her audition excerpts all summer. She practiced the difficult passages slowly, and spent time listening to recordings of the works to help her gain a broad understanding of each piece. She really rose to the ocasion, tackling extremely difficult and challenging passages. Kathryn studies violin with Sarah Wittekind. Way to go, Kathryn!!
